Redemption Journey ("Redemption Journey," "we," "us," or "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit redjo.org and any associated pages (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Updates list. When you join the updates list, we collect your email address and the page path where you signed up, along with any campaign attribution included in the signup source.
• Information you provide. When you submit a contact, partnership, or donation inquiry, we collect the details you choose to share, typically your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message.
• Donation information. If you make a donation, payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor, Zeffy. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs through standard server logs and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries and coordinate program and partnership activities;
• Process and acknowledge donations and issue tax receipts where applicable;
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our programs;
• Communicate updates you have requested; and
• Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site and our programs (such as hosting, email, analytics, and payment processing), under obligations to protect your information;
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Redemption Journey, our users, or others.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use the Google tag to share page visits, device and browser information, and advertising click identifiers with Google Ads to measure whether visits to the donation, contact, and email-signup confirmation pages follow a Google ad and to support ad optimization. Updates email addresses are not sent to Google Ads. Without a consent banner, the tag loads only when the visitor's country is verified as the United States. It is not loaded when a browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal or appears to be in Europe. If the country cannot be determined, the tag stays blocked. You can opt out by enabling Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve performance. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features may not function properly as a result.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You can email samuel@redjo.org to ask for deletion of your updates signup or other personal information you have submitted.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at samuel@redjo.org. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where our programs serve minors, we work through partner organizations and obtain appropriate consent from parents or guardians.

9. International Visitors

Redemption Journey operates in the United States and works with communities in other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when posted, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
